The intention of the organizers is to make the economic researchers and Ph.D. students familiar with the theoretical issues concerning transition, as well as with the practical ones connected with the implementation of the macroeconomic policies in our country from December 1989 until nowadays. In this respect, the organizers will invite both economic personalities involved in the economic policy decision making (at very high and high ranking levels: the Prime minister and ministers) and personalities from the academic media that will deliver lectures about the economic policy programmes and actions during the transition period.
